Anything on the NCIS: Los Angeles finale? — Will
ADAM: Remember Special Agent Renko (Brian Avers) from way back in Season 1? He’ll resurface when the team is called in to assist him on an undercover operation in which his cover has potentially been blown. But as the team digs for answers, they soon learn they’re playing into the hands of a criminal mastermind. Also: Callen’s nemesis, The Chameleon, will return. Coincidence?

One of NCIS: Los Angeles‘ biggest ongoing mysteries is the question of when, where and why Nate Getz, the team’s onetime resident operational psychologist, will resurface.
Well, TVLine has exclusively secured intel on the when of Nate’s next appearance on the CBS drama, and a big tease for what happens during his latest visit.
In an episode set to air in early April, Peter Cambor will reprise his role of Nate, and this time his perceptive skills will clue him into a blooming development within the ranks of the L.A. team.
“As well as playing a pivotal role in the case under investigation [that week], Nate also makes a discovery of his own about Nell… and her feelings for Eric,” NCIS: LA boss Shane Brennan tells us.
A curious twist there, seeing as in the February 2011 episode “Lockup,” it was indicated that Nate and Nell have some sort of unsaid connection — familiar or perhaps otherwise.
Alas, as excited as longtime viewers will be to see Cambor back, his latest encore is but a one-off. “Nate will be jetting off to foreign shores at the end of the episode, but fans can be assured that we haven’t seen the last of him,” says Brennan. “Nate remains a much-loved character in the series, and we always look for opportunities to bring him back.”

NCIS: Los Angeles has a hot new character coming onboard. America Olivo of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark and Bitch Slap fame debuts on the CBS hit on October 18 as Eva Espinoza, a ripped-from-the-headlines Mexican police chief.
In our exclusive Wetpaint Entertainment interview, America tells us what it’s like to work with LL Cool J, being part of the injury-plagued version of Bono’s Spider-Man on Broadway, and how she kept her cool while shooting sex scenes with for her upcoming romantic comedy. Oh, and working with The Hobbit’s Luke Evans on what may be one of the goriest horror flicks ever.
Wetpaint Entertainment: What can you tell us about your character on NCIS: Los Angeles?
America Olivio: Eva is from Mexico. She’s a very young police chief. I was told in passing on set that it was loosely based on a real circumstance where a 20 year-old woman in Mexico had to step up and be the police chief because so many of the chiefs had been murdered by the cartel that she was the only one left in the city who was willing to do it. Obviously, we’re all very concerned about what’s going on south of the border. She’s a very strong character. No matter how young she is, she’s got to be tough.
What was it like working with Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J?
Oh, my gosh. They were amazing! That whole team from crew to director to writers and every cast member there is like a family. They are so welcoming, especially walking in as a new person to this family. From the get go, five seconds in, we were already throwing banter back at each other, just busting each other’s balls right off the bat and just being really funny. From serious conversations with Todd [Smith, played by LL Cool J] to just goofing off with Chris, they were just so lovely and really stood up for me as a guest star.

Claire Forlani has just been cast in CBS’ NCIS: Los Angeles in a recurring role this season, and the big news is her character description: Forlani plays Lauren Hunter, the NCIS: LA team’s new Operations Manager.
Which raises a crucial question: What does this mean for Hetty?
Hunter is described as attractive, authoritative, cool and calculating: “She rarely lets her guard down, but when she does she reveals a dangerous quality that suggests she is much more than your run-of-the mill operations manager.”
Forlani’s storyline begins on the NCIS: LA episode airing May 10. Sources say the new operations manager and Linda Hunt’s character are very much part of this season’s cliffhanger and that a big question for fans will be whether Hunt will continue on the show — as the operations manager, or doing something else — next season.
Forlani is currently playing Queen Igraine in Starz’ Camelot and had a recurring role for several seasons on CSI: NY. What do you think, should CBS keep Hetty around?

What’s coming up on NCIS: Los Angeles? — Jill
ADAM: Look for the team to work a protection detail — only they’ll be trying to keep the bad guy safe. The show is looking for an actor to play a lifelong criminal who is as charming as he is talented at building high-end custom guns. He also happens to be the government’s key witness in an arms trafficking case — which is precisely why someone wants him dead.

Former Charmed and Melrose Place star Victor Webster is set to guest-star on an upcoming episode of NCIS: Los Angeles, and as you can see in this exclusive first look, he might just throw a wrench into the bubbling chemistry between Kensi and Deeks.
Webster plays Stanley King, a world-class thief suspected of several high-end heists. He lands on NCIS’ radar after a secure facility housing sensitive materials on a Marine base is compromised. In order to get close enough to keep an eye on King, Kensi (Daniala Ruah) must work alongside him as a savvy thief.
As you might suspect, I’m hearing that Kensi makes quite a connection with Webster’s bad boy. Naturally, Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) isn’t keen on watching his partner get so close to another man — but only out of fear for her safety, we’re sure.
Coincidentally, Webster is currently presenting himself as an obstacle for another pair of will-they-won’t-they procedural partners: Castle and Beckett on ABC’s Castle. The actor, who has also appeared on Criminal Minds, Lincoln Heights, and Mutant X, will next star in Scorpion King: Rise of the Dead on the big screen.
NCIS: Los Angeles airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on CBS. Webster’s episode, titled “The Job,” is slated to air March 29.
