Question: Can you give as any news on when or how Deeks’ mother will appear on NCIS: LA? –EcoSarahFans
Ausiello:
At some point during the upcoming Season 5, Eric Christian Olsen assures, “You’re going to meet his mom and get into his past” — which as any fan knows wasn’t idyllic. “We already know a little about the dysfunctional and catastrophic relationship with his father, but we’re going to find out a lot more about what makes this guy tick and how it affects, obviously, the relationship with Kensi and his inability to make that work.”

SEASON FINALE: Sam and his wife, Michelle, a former CIA operative, went undercover in Sidorov’s gang as Callen called upon his biggest adversary, Janvier, to intercept the sale of stolen nuclear weapons to international enemies. The mission was compromised when Janvier revealed Sam’s identity to Sidorov, putting Sam in grave danger. The cliffhanger ending found Sam and Deeks being tortured in order to reveal the true identity of Sam’s wife, while the rest of the team was unaware of their whereabouts. @NCISLA_CBS

NEW SEASON: The fifth season resumes with Sam and Deeks being tortured for information on Sam’s wife. Meanwhile, even as the team’s goal is to locate their partners, the agency’s overall operation is to apprehend Sidorov and the stolen nuclear weapons. Also, the series will mark its 100th episode early in the season.

Any chance that Peter Cambor will be coming back to NCIS: LA next season? Even briefly? It seems like a great chance to bring Nate back, for the fallout of the finale. –Tracie
You’ve got a bright bean there, Tracie – since I can report that Cambor/Nate will in fact resurface early into Season 5.

First, allow me to tell you that your work is very appreciated and each new article brightens our day! Is it too soon to ask if you have any spoilers on NCIS: LA‘s 100th episode? –Emma
With an intro like that, you get to go first this week. Not only is it not premature to ask about No. 100 (aka the fourth episode of Season 5), show boss Shane Brennan teases, “I already know what the last episode is for next year!” But let’s not get that ahead of ourselves. Brennan says that while the aforementioned milestone hour “may play with the show’s format a little,” it will for certain “kick off an arc that runs right through the end of the season,” which he also said will be a “watershed” one for both Deeks and Callen.

Deeks and Kensi: What happens after the kiss on NCIS: Los Angeles? — Moni, via Twitter
ADAM:
Well, you’re assuming that Deeks makes it out of Sidorov’s torture trap alive. (Just kidding, that’s a pretty safe bet.) But executive producer Shane Brennan cautions viewers not to to make too much of the liplock. “It wasn’t a candlelit dinner,” he says. “It was almost a challenge that he threw down to her. I think it surprised both of them.” But Deeks may feel differently about the kiss after his brush with death.
